Global Impact
Our team works to help people think globally and ethically. Our global impact program has enabled us to expanded our impact to, not only our community of Anderson (IN), but throughout the world.

We focus on creating economic impact by helping others understand how a market based economic system operates as well as helping individuals understand that the long-term success and prosperity of a market economy, businesses and individuals are dependent on ethical business practices.

Two of our Principal Projects achieve these goals:
1) Give-A-Chicken Campaign (http://giveachicken.com)
2) Ethics Advancement

Additionally, we are also working on the following projects:
3) Mulunda Miaka Consulting
4) Unidentified
5) Unidentified

Give-A-Chicken Campaign (Project Manager: ?)
Chad Schubert has a passion for Africa. So much so, that he is returning there this summer. SIFE is going to continue the work that we did last year with the Mulunda Miaka Orphanage in Zambia, Africa. We have developed a sustainability program that involves sponsoring chickens online in order to provide the orphanage with continuing revenue.

We developed a website for online donations, which will also explain how this process works. This online sponsor program will be launched along with our Global Chicken Challenge event. Click here for details.

Student Need: We need a project manager as well as a team of students that will work with developing our online sponsoring program. Tracking the sponsorships, following up with the sponsors, and updating the website are necessary tasks.

Ethics Advancement (Project Manager: Erick Russell)
The President of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce (and a member of our BAB) asked for SIFE to help create a “code of conduct” for the Chamber last year. SIFE will continue to develop this code and present it to chambers throughout the state. We are hoping to advance this project and reach 20 chambers throughout the course of the year.

Student Need: This project needs a variety of students that are willing to coorispond with local Chambers. Presenting our code of ethics and working to impliment the code will be the primary tasks. We would also like to take this project to the next level and are in need of someone that can help provide a vision.

Mulunda Miaka Consulting (Project Manager: ?)
We have identified some very specific needs of the orphanage in Zambia. This project will focus on addressing those needs and better connecting the United States with the work they are doing in Zambia. Specific goals are still being determined.

Student Need: We are looking for a project manager. Additionally, we are looking for students that can help achieve the goals of this project.
