The following is a list of main organizational events for 2008-09.
Fall 2008
Global Chicken Challenge - September 4 & 5
Scheduled to take place the
first week of school, SIFE is going to be provide the opportunity to
see how good your bartering skills are. Start with a live chicken and
see what you can get for it. This contest will run for approximately
24-hours and will wrap up with a judging contest to see who was able
to barter for the best item. This will also launch the website for
our Give-A-Chicken program, where you can sponsor your very own chicken.

Etiquette Dinner - Novemeber 13,
2008
Partnering alongside of this CAB event, SIFE encourages all students
that have not yet participated in one of these, to take advantage
of the opportunity to eat and dine with the best.
Connect 2 Dinner – December 2, 2008
BAB Members and SIFE students will have the opportunity to eat and
discuss a specific chosen topic at this dinner. The purpose is to
link the BAB members with the student members in SIFE. Students will
be able to network, enhance their communication skills, and develop
on-going learning relationships.
Spring 2009
Consulting Showcase – March 10, 2009
This is going to be one of SIFE’s premiere events. Consulting
Services, now in its fifth year, wraps up with this competition between
the consulting teams. Updates from all of our other projects, team
information, SIFE students, community members and Business Advisory
Board members will join us for this dinner and competition.
SIFE National Presentation Breakfast & Practice – April
30, 2009 – Reardon Auditorium
We will celebrate our
year’s accomplishments and hard work at
this breakfast and presentation practice in Reardon Auditorium. Students,
staff, community members, and BAB members are invited to see all of
our hard work at its best—as we prepare for the USA National
Exposition in Philadelphia.
