About Consulting Services
Now in its fifth year, Consulting Services works to help local entrepreneurs to advance their business. We have partnered with the Flagship Enterprise Center (FEC) and the Anderson Business Incubator (ABI) to select our five clients for this year (described below).

Teams of five students and a project manager have been assigned to each business where they will select and execute a set of objectives to help the entrepreneur. Consulting Services is helping local businesses grow and students learn through hands-on experience. Our Consulting Services project ends with our Consulting Showcase, a chance for each of the students teams to compete against one another for who did the best work for his/her company.

2008-09 Consulting Services Clients
We will be releasing the list of clients very soon.

Interested in SIFE Consulting for 2008-09?
Clients for 2008-09 have been selected.

Through our sponsorship by the Flagship Enterprise Center, we are currently selecting companies of the Flagship and Anderson Business Incubator. Decisions for each year are evaluated over the summer (May-August) and selections are made before school starts in September.

Please contact the VP of Entrepreneurial Impact, Bethany Masters, for details.

Consulting Showcase (formally Consulting Competition) - March 10, 2009
This will be an event where the Consulting Services teams will compete against one another to see who achieved the greatest results. Additionally, SIFE will showcase its work with other projects and the impact that we are making in the community.

All BAB members and SIFE students are asked to attend this spring event.

Think 60!
(Project Manager needed, contact Bethany Masters for details)

This is a new project that we started this year to complement our Consulting Services program. We realized that more businesses want our assistance and more students are willing to get involved.

What can a business accomplish in only 60 minutes? Think 60! pairs a group of students with a local business owner for 60 minutes to brainstorm and come up with some fresh new ideas.

Students: This project meets during week around lunch time and is always looking for new students to participate.

Businesses: If you feel you could benefit from 60 minutes of consulting advise, contact the project manager above to get connected with this project.
