Anderson University Students in Free Enterprise
: Entrepreneurial Impact

Why Entrepreneurial Impact?
We focus on creating economic opportunity by helping others learn how to succeed as an entrepreneur and/or improve and existing business.

Consutling Services
Sponsored by The Flagship Enterprise Center

Now in its sixth year, Consulting Services works to help local entrepreneurs to advance their business. We have partnered with the Flagship Enterprise Center (FEC) and the Anderson Business Incubator (ABI) to select our five clients for this year. We are building off the success of last year.

Teams of five students and a project manager have been assigned to each business where they will select and execute a set of objectives to help the entrepreneur. Consulting Services is helping local businesses grow and students learn through hands-on experience. Our Consulting Services project ends with our Consulting Showcase, a chance for each of the students teams to compete against one another for who did the best work for his/her company.

Interested in becoming a client for SIFE's Consulting Services?
We are currently looking for 2009-2010 clients.

Decisions for each year are evaluated over the summer (May-August) and selections are made before school starts in September. Please contact the VP of Entrepreneurial Impact for details.

Think 60!

Sustained by a grant through The Lilly Foundation (via INvision AU)

This is a new project that we started this year to complement our Consulting Services program. We realized that more businesses want our assistance and more students are willing to get involved.

What can a business accomplish in only 60 minutes? Think 60! pairs a group of students with a local business owner for 60 minutes to brainstorm and come up with some fresh new ideas.

Students: This project meets during week around lunch time and is always looking for new students to participate.

Businesses: If you feel you could benefit from 60 minutes of consulting advise, the VP of Entrepreneurial Impact for details.
