What is Competition?
SIFE teams are invited to showcase the effect of their outreach projects at annual competitions judged by panels of business leaders. Teams share the impact made in their communities along five educational topics: market economics, success skills, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business ethics.

The competitive format consists of a written annual report and a live audio-visual presentation. At the United States competitions, teams are separated into two divisions, the two-year college division and the four-year university division. The teams are subsequently divided into leagues based on their performance in the previous year’s competition. First year teams are evenly distributed among the leagues.

In the United States, the competition process begins with the SIFE USA Regional Competitions. Every SIFE team is invited to attend the regional competition of its choice. Regional Champions then advance to the SIFE USA National Exposition hosted in a different city each year.

We believe, as in business, a healthy spirit of competition motivates the participants and leads to better results. In this spirit, SIFE Teams are invited to showcase the effect of their outreach projects at annual competitions judged by panels of business leaders. The competitions are challenging, team oriented events that strengthen the learning experience of the students, provide a forum for best practice sharing and important networking opportunities for everyone involved.

Teams compete at regional and national levels – with the competitive process culminating at the SIFE World Cup, where one team from each country comes together to share the impact made in their communities with a number of prestigious international business leaders.

Student Opportunities
1. Presentation Team - Each year we select around 6 students to be on our team that presents at competition.
